11 more days until the draft. I for one having a count down until draft night. The chances of Houston Rockets acquiring Bosh through a sign and trade is very slim right now. But when the draft comes, we would pretty much get a clearer picture of what the future of Rockets will be like. What do you guys think will happen during the draft night. Would Morey stay put and stick with the 14th pick? Or would he make a deal with Warriors and swap picks with them and throw in a Hill or Bud to get back Anthony Randolf and 6th pick in return? Or Should they make a bolder move with the Sixers and acquire Elton's albatross contract but get the rewarding 2nd pick? Morey never really had a chance to pick high or have the assets before. But now, he have much more assets than before and if he have a high pick in 6th or 2nd, I'm sure Morey wouldn't make the same mistakes other GMs would and really be successful drafting a good prospect. But who knows what will happen on Draft Night. With Morey, anything can happen if given the right circumstances. That's why I cannot wait until draft night because I really believe he will pull something great.

I think we need to target the #6 pick. I love Randolph, but I don't see him as part of the package if we get the Warriors pick (just my opinion). I would see if the Warriors would bite on #14 a 2012 first rounder and Jermaine Taylor.
i see us trading the pick along with another player and future picks in order to move up and pick up another player. like trading up with GS, or MN to pick up Rubio + 4th pick, Randolph + 6th pick. something along those lines. morey does wonders at the draft, i see nothing different this year. looking forward to it for sure.
I forsee Morey trading down to a 20 something pick to get the player that he wants while getting a couple late firsts or 2nd rounders in the process. 2 of the three will pan out (ala Brooks/Landry) and one will go the way of Dorsey/Taylor
I say they do the Randolph with #6 and J. Johnson with #24. I'm hoping they come away with #14 still after all is said and done. That to me will be a successful draft.
Actually, Taylor was coming along during the second half of the season. His second season will be more sucessful.
I don't have much to offer, everything has been beaten to death. So my two cents is, I CAN'T FREAKING WAIT!
Honestly I'm fine with being like a sheep being lead by nose by DM. He's batting average is pretty damn perfect when it counts. Sure he misses on the Francis' and the Dorsey's, but when it comes to moves that greatly impact the franchise he's generally on top of things. And the thing is the roster's built so well we can go in a lot of different directions and still end up with a pretty damn good team. Let's just what happens.
