Tomorrow is the debut of the new scoreboard at Toyota Center at the Rockets home opener versus Portland. The new board makes it the largest scoreboard in an arena in the United States. If you're going to the game.... Please take pictures or videos of the scoreboard----starting lineups and other in game features and graphics. I am interested in seeing recordings of the starting lineups on the new board. I'm expecting great graphics and footage to replace the Rockets liftoff on the old scoreboard during the starting lineups. I believe the Rockets also upgraded the baseline booth where the media sits to a digital LED like most teams in the league, and also the large screen out front at the Toyota Center entrance.
we paid for that screen with tax dollars, and yet most of us can't watch the team on tv . . .think of the irony . .and think of how bad teh rockets are screwing us
Cowboys stadium is "bigger" But if the Arenas were the same size, I think it would look the same way.
here's a pic I took during the viewing party for STH holders during the season opener Hella nice, I'd say its as proportional to a basketball court as to the Cowboys Screen in their stadium here's another when they started showing stats towards the end of the game. Funny thing was, the stats was ahead of the feed itself, so when we saw someone scored, 2 seconds later, we'd see it on the screen.
Spoiler "BIGGER" the screen in cowboys/texas stadium stretches from 20 yard line to 20 yard line which is 180 feet wide.. thats roughly the length of 2 basketball courts.. this wouldnt even fit inside toyota center..
