Houston is where the money is at. Better economy, real estate. More oppurtunities. 25 Fortune 500 company headquarters are located in Houston, which ranks third most in the nation. The medical facilities are second to none. 3 professional teams with state of the art stadiums (that's not counting the Dynamo).

More diverse (melting pot), more food options, more uspcale areas, better freeway system, good nightlife. Personally, I don't like the bar hopping stuff any more. I prefer more exclusive joints.

The list goes on and on. There is a reason why I everybody moves to Houston as it's one of the fastest growing cities in the nation.

Dumb thread is dumb.

[Typed from my desk in Austin, TX...]

I'm just hyped to see the Texans at the top of the standings right now. Before this season started, I could have never imagined such a thing -- especially not this late in the season. In the "predict the record" thread (before the season) I selected 8-8. I stated that until this team proved otherwise, that's where they were to me: mediocre at best.
How cool is it to have come this far despite all the tragic injuries? It's truly amazing. I hope we win two more games. I think it's possible. I'm keeping the faith! Go HOUSTON Texans! (from Austin, with Love...)
