    I have come to believe that Harden, unique among STARS, is better without a 2nd. Or 3rd. Quality role players might actually produce greater results.

    I’d take Rose and SnT Wood, then flip Rose back to Thibs in Knixieland for a lotto protected 1 next year and 2 this year.

    I don't think the bolded portion is as farfetched as you might think. I've heard on a Rockets podcast (Salman Ali's, if I recall correctly) that Patrick is involved in the team, and his influence only seems to be growing. It's probably part of the reason Morey left.
