    Of course, they traded a second string center for Kobe...It's also pretty easy to do that when you have the most dominant Center in the game and are coming off a 53 win season.

    You haven't been the only one to point this out, but seeing as how the rox will have a 1% chance of winning the lotto due to them having the best record for being a loser, it's almost not even worth mentioning.

    the rox wont win the lotto, the rox wont keep their pick.

    Hate to throw in a monkey wrench(or 2 or 3), but:

    1. As someone else stated, I believe it has to be within 3 of our own,

    2. OR any other team's pick as long as it's a lottery pick(cancels #1 above),

    3. the problem with your scenario is that, although the Rocks have the option of who's pick to give Memphis, many times there are deadlines to make that decision. In other words, we may have to decide what we're giving Memphis before we know if we've won the lottery.
