I honestly wouldn't mind spending 100 billion or 240 billion on Iraq if we had a real plan of how to use it to help, and we had a better and more capable leader heading the effort. At this point we should build that nation back up, and give it aid and equipment to help them try and stabilize. However that money under Bush's lack of planning is more or less wasted. It will go for military ventures that don't work, inside no bid contracts, and will lack a focused direction that is needed in Iraq.
I agree with almost everything you've said here. It's not the money that's the problem, it's who is spending it. You know it won't wind up being spent in the most logical way.
We have also gained alot of haters through out the world, and the reason for alot ALOT of innocent people dying because of Bush and his hidden agendas.
That is how i feel about the government in general it is not that I pay taxes I'm fine with that but It is how they use it. Special Interests. Their personal Raises. Etc instead of Universal Health Care and Education Rocket River misspending the money is what irratates me
This gives you an idea of how your $350B+ was spent: http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2006/09/16/AR2006091600193.html and the companion chat: http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/discussion/2006/08/28/DI2006082800508.html
I dont see what the big deal is, just chop down more trees, and print more money. Lots and lots of it! and Bush has his dough.
