Way to jump to the worst possible scenario. Puppies get sick, if it's only been a day, it's really not that big of a deal. Dogs usually get parvo from ingesting another dogs feces or in rare cases a mosquito bite. Most likely your pup is constipated or something, if he doesn't return to normal in the next couple of days you should take him in.
I used to read the front page and all Clutch's articles etc. between classes in college back in the mid-90's. I didn't discover the bbs portion of the site until 2002. Hell, I didn't even know what a bbs was until then. After The Summer of YoYao, I was pretty much hooked forever. I've tried to quit cold turkey a few times but it never lasts for more than a month or so. I suppose it would be easier if I got a different job, since I pretty much do 99.999% of my posting from work.
alt.sports.basketball.nba.hou-rockets (I know...this was a non-Clutch entity...but was the only way to get a Rockets fix in those days)...way back in 95/96'ish...before UofH was freely issuing SLIP accounts. TXT INTERNETS FTW! Can't remember how I stumbled into cf.com. Been here that long...and still scared to death to set foot into D&D.
It's awesome how timeless this site is. Despite little to no major changes in BBS structure, it doesn't hurt us at all.
For me, it was the AOL Rockets posting boards (can't remember what they were called back then). I was pretty active on those. Wouldn't be surprised if I had interacted with some people who are here now. Can't remember what my AOL screen name was.
i also used to think that you could have a rational discussion in D&D without someone being a complete a-hole if you disagree with them on something
I posted first on the ESPN boards, then clutchcity.com, then RealGM when it came out, then finally this BBS. all under different usernames
Same here. I think I found the site before it even was clutchcity.com. I remember when Clutch sold clutchcity.com to Rivals and I freaked thinking that the site was gone. I lurked for a long time before I joined the board.
