10 years it's been, still can't pass the first round

I think you are overreacting a little bit, we closed two very difficult games here in houston, and one of them because of a great coaching move.

We need to wait and see, the series was a tossup from the begining and still is, just ask you how do you think this team would do with JVG or another coach, we lack a 20 million dollar player, see how the spurs (4 championships under pop) were unable to beat the mavs twice.

 

This year we will face the Laker. I believe.

 

This thread fails.. only a Rockets homer would have thought we were going to finish this in 5 most likely. Game 5 was such an iffy game, I didn't really give the Rockets much of a chance in game, I was surprised we had the lead in the 4th like that, but game 6 is going to be so much different, we will win game 6, I'm more confident about a game 6 victory than any other victory we've had in the series.

 

I know people like to blame Tmac because we cannot get out of the first round. Often best players on their team get blamed for that type of things. But the harsh reality is that Tmac is not our problem from getting out of the first round. Our offense just sucks no matter what with him or worst without him. No matter what coach we get, our offense will still suck.

Most of the people in Clutch think that Yao is the focal point to our offense. He is our go to guy and he should have the ball in clutch situation. Well believe it or not, I think Yao is the main reason we cannot get out of the first round. Everyone keep saying we lost because no one gave the ball to yao enough. Well, they tried but Yao gets fronted too easily or when he do get the ball, he usually forces the shot.

Yao is a good player, but we will never win any championship with Yao ming on our team. He just bring too much liability to our team. Defensively and offensively. He is a great player for a regular season when teams don't play him back to back. He can win games in the regular season. He can put up good numbers. But winning games in the playoffs...well he probably cost us games in the playoffs.

There are threads bashing brooks and Artest saying they take bad shots. Well there is nothing they can do about it. They would pass the ball to Yao if they can but apparently, Yao is cemented to the ground and is fronted to easily. He just does not understand that by moving towards the ball to catch it is better than hoping the ball will land in his hand without anyone deflecting it. He does not block out enough and is horrible on defense.

Sorry to say Rockets fan but as long as Yao Ming is the Rockets center, don't expect to make it anywhere in the playoffs.

 

They didn´t give the ball to Scola either, he is mobile, he has good hands, he can play the high pick n roll, and he didn´t get the ball from brooks or from artest.

 

There were several instances in which Brooks could have passed it to Yao, to which his decision was to swing it to the other end of the court.

At any rate, you have a better idea if not Yao?

 

The management team did not expect Rocket to pass the first round anyway when Alston was traded.
