    In this post, it sounds like you are saying you don't need a passport for Cancun. You do need a passport for Cancun if you are flying in.

    Honestly, I've never been to Mexico and never, EVER intend to so I wasn't sure if it was just an ID passport or the whole booklet.

    got my 6th this year; going to Vegas

    After looking at deals recently you could prolly make ~2k work there but probably only if you go earlier in the week [M-Thur] as rooms/airfare are a lot less expensive

    New Orleans is probably a better option for the budget

    I would imagine that the strip is the place to be in Vegas. Any hotel recommendations?

    Our 10 years is about 3 1/2 away and we're gonna do the same. Saving up money now to head to New Zealand. Neither of us have been and looks like beautiful country with plenty to do. And we'll get to see Middle Earth!
