i like your breakdown, just wanted to add that Landry was purchased for a couple mil. So really, 2M plus 14th pick.

If Morey can get Bosh, the puzzle will be complete. What you will see is a new improve version of the Rick's offense of what he had in Sacramento.

    Ming Dvac
    Bosh Webber
    Ariza Peja
    Kmart Christi
    Brooks Bibby

So your saying the Raptors would take (Battier core player), Jeffries, Hill, Anderson and Hayes for freaken Hedo Turkoglu and Chris Bosh?
If one can read between the lines, basically what your saying is Bryan Colangelo is a complete idiot that doesn't know what he's doing.

it seems like people forget that there must be modivation involved in a trade, not just a salary match. i could see the raptors wanting budinger, hill and battier(and more) in a sign and trade for bosh, but adding andersen and jeffries to get hedo too?? kmon now

Given how badly Turkoglu is overpaid as well as how crappy he was playing this year? Duh. I'm not sure if I want to do that deal, as Hedo's contract is just that dumb.

That would be a stupid trade on Lakers part. They would essentially have Gasol and Bosh, two similar players, on the same team. Not good, IMO.

The Lakers need a point guard, not a glut at power foward. I think they should go after Hinrich or probably Collison or some other decent point guard cuz Fisher can't hang with the big boys.

Also, Bosh has to constent to any S&T done my Raptors and since he would want to come to a place where he is a 1st option, I highly doubt he goes to the Lakers.

Hell, he won't even be the 2nd option on that team!

I'm sure Bosh would love LA, but he'll have to accept being second fiddle.

Naw, he'd have to axxept being 3rd fiddle behind Kobe and Gasol.

Bosh won't go to LA. LA needs to upgrade their pg position, not pf position.

This. If I were the Lakers and I don't mind having another max contract I'd trade Bynum for CP3, or maybe Bynum for Rondo and Perkins.

its kinda funny that everybody is certain we getting Bosh, but we aint. Ya got to think like Morey, he always go for the underated talent for example when everybody thought we were goin to get caron or andre while i had a feelin that we were gettin k-mart. The player that i would like to have in this team is Carlos Boozer i hated that we faced him in the playoffs cuz he killed us. I think it can work in a sign and trade maybe give them battier and some fillers I know Sloan would love to him. Thats just my opinion :)

We must be reading different message boards. I don't think anyone here believes that getting Bosh is a slam dunk. Personally, I'd put the odds at about 25%, but even that's generous.

bosh is not going to be the option behind gasol. kobe yeah but not gasol. this late in his career, kobe might be willing to share with bosh in order to further solidify his status as the greatest laker ever.

It's not about getting touches or being better or worse than Gasol. It's about the media image. What will the espn folks do when they mention the Lakers?

    "Big three"
    "Kobe with Bosh and Gasol"
"Is Kobe the GOAT/better than MJ blah blah blah"

The only person whose stock gets enhanced if Bosh goes to LA is Kobe. Every media outlet will be on Kobe's nuts and comparing him to Jordan ad nauseum. And when Kobe retires, that Lakers team will be mediocre again and no will care about Bosh anymore.

The #1 reason why the Rockets would want Bosh this offseason: his name is not Amare Stodamire

I don't see why some people consider adding Bosh so unrealistic. It's basically a foregone conclusion he doesn't stay in Toronto. It's also reasonable to assume Bosh will want as much money as he can get and Toronto will want to get something for him, therefore a sign and trade. Any team that wants him has to meet two qualifications

1.Young talent and Draft picks (which we have Budinger, Hill and Knicks Picks)

2.A Place Bosh wants to go (we have a competitive team ,a chance to be the man, and Houston's not basketball siberia)

I'm not saying it's likely to happen, but it hardly sounds like a pipe dream. Someone give me a better destination that can give Toronto what they want, and Bosh what he wants.
