Got minecraft which is awesome! And I got SwiftKey keyboard based on recommendations. Only thing that bothers me is the message that says swift key copies password and credit card numbers or something like that when you activate SwiftKey.

Looks like they just went back to the original prices. Fortunately I got a couple just in time.

per all of your recommendation, i got the swiftkey x keyboard, will try it out to see if it fits

i got to tell you, i'm a diehard swype guy, whenever swype would update and my current version stops working, i literally want to pull my hair out, because tapping for keys is miserable

    will see how swiftkey fairs

Not an Android user currently, but might be making the switch soon (still on the fence). Never really used Android or it's marketplace before, so not too familiar with how it works. Any way to purchase these now, save 'em to the hd, and install them later?

Yeah I tried swiftkey x for like 2 minutes and it was driving me crazy, so I'm going back to swype.

Yeah you can do that on the Amazon android market place at least.

Not sure about the Google marketplace, but you may be able to as long as you have a google account and you set up your payment info.

Only way I think would be to go to a store that has cell phones, sign in with your gmail account on one of the phones, factory reset the phone and then go home and go to market.android.com. Sign in from there, and purchase the app.
(You'll have that phone you signed in with as a device on your Gmail account)

However, for any free apps that you might be interested in, look for the .apk file, and you can save that for later.

Go to settings->advanced->typing style and choose "precise" if the autocorrection is too aggressive for you. I find the "precise" setting works a lot better. And you need to give it about a week or two at least so that it can learn your typing style. Like I said previously, on average it should save you about 50% of your keystrokes.

Did you set it to learn from your Gmail and Twitter?
Now it pretty much knows what I'm trying to say lol.

Sometimes it feels like it's reading your mind and finishing your sentences for you. If I didn't know better I'd say it's almost creepy.

You should keep the other apps posted. They're still 10 cents if you search them.

I enjoy swype on the smaller screen as well. I hate tapping but on a tablet I use swiftkey because it has the split keyboard. If swype would put one of those in I'd be all over it but then again..swype having a split keyboard for tablets would be kind of anti-swype wouldn't it?
