I guess it's good he considers him the 4th best guard considering he doesn't even play that position!

Nevermind the fact that T-Mac is a SF now......

His logic is flawed. He starts by slobbing off T-Mac for doing "everything humanly possible" to try to beat Dallas but concludes that simply because he's never been out of the 1st round he can't rank him ahead of the others. Then he goes on talk about how good of a leader Ray Allen was blah blah blah but fails to mention anything about the Spurs dismantling the Sonics in the 1st round as well.

We all know damn well T-Mac is better than all these guys but all you can really do is look at something like this and laugh since we all know he's wrong.

I'd throw in Vince as a SF as well, he might be playing SG now because of Jefferson but he's 3 to me...

I think that guy just honestly forgot Iverson, there's no other explanation that seems rational. (What about Paul Pierce?)

My top 5 SG's are (no order):

    Kobe
    AI
    Ray Allen
    Paul Peirce
Dwade (although i still see him a PG)

But Kobe is hands down the best shooting guard, love him or hate him.

Why is everyone on Dwayne Wade's jock so much around the country? He's a great player, but he's one-dimensional. Maybe in a few years, if he develops an outside game, he will be at the level of TMac or Kobe. But anyone who doesn't put those two at the top is nuts.

its so fukin ignorant to use the fact that mcgrady hasnt been out of the first round. its a team game. even jordan couldnt win a championship without the right pieces. fukin ignorant mf. i feel better now.

I'm ok putting Wade and Kobe ahead of T-Mac, though I think Wade needs to earn it a little more. He's such a fashionable choice though because he plays in Miami for Pat Riley and with Shaq. He's an awesome talent, but to me, it is still Kobe-T-Mac 1 and 2 with Kobe getting the edge just because of the championships.

winning championships has nothing to do with individual talent.

    Wade is officially overrated.
    Dont forget it's eastern.
TMac got 32/6.5/5.5 for a season.

first off mcgrady isn't a guard any longer. secondly there's no f**king way wade is as good as mcgrady. miami would give us wade for mcgrady 8 days of the week than ask us when we'd like our a$$ rape. give me a break. talent-wise, it's kobe and t-mac than everyone else.

I find it funny how people now start to kiss Wade's a$$ after one VERY good season(he is good in his rookie season). No way he is better than Kobe and Tmac who both have 4-5 GREAT seasons under their belt! According to this guy, T-mac is no.4 becos he never been to 2nd round. Now i wonder where this guy will rate Lebron 'I cant lead my team to the playoffs and my team's owner/GM better start to do something else i will sign with New York' James in the forwards!!!!!!

After the rockets make their run towards a title next season this same guy will be talking about how great t-mac is and will no doubt have him listed at # 1 or 2.

Look, Marquette's my school, and therefore I love Wade... but he simply isn't as good as everyone's hyping him up to be.

I just don't see where all this talk of him being better than Lebron, T-Mac, etc. comes from. He's just not there yet.

i agree about wade. he has a lot of talent but still makes too many francis type mistakes. the term "ball hog" also comes to mind.

Let's forget about the SG/SF distinction because their roles are pretty similar in today's NBA. So if we were to rate the best "wing man" in the game, the top 5 would be like this to me:

    TMac
    Kobe
    LeBron
    Wade
    Iverson

The top two has to be TMac and Kobe at this point of their careers. Before last season, I would rank Kobe a tad higher than TMac simply because of his competitiveness. But TMac has proven himself to be a leader that Kobe isn't. TMac is a team player who makes his teammates better. That gives him the edge over Kobe.

LeBron and Wade are serious talents. But they need to play longer to earn the top 2 spots. LeBron is clearly more talented than Wade. Both of them need to develop a killer outside shot like Kobe and TMac. And Wade needs to be a better passer to get ahead of LeBron.

First off, D-Wade is just a glorified Steve Francis. They are the exact same player with the exact same game the only difference is their name.

Secondly, anyone who says D-Wade is better than Lebron James is smoking something.

    The Right List:

    1) Tmac (if SG)
    2) Kobe
    3) Manu Ginobili
    4) Richard Hamilton
    5) Steve Francis
    6) Cuttino Mobley
    7) D-Wade
    8) Michael Redd
    9) Ray Allen
    10) Michael Finley

    What? Cuttino? No Allen Iverson?

    1) Tmac
    2) Kobe
    3) Iverson
    4) Ray Allen
    5) Dwayne Wade
    6) Hamilton
    7) Redd
    8) Francis
    9) Ginobili
    10) Moochie Norris

Wow...... Wade at number 1..... He has yet to win a ring with Shaq and is rated at number 1. Kobe has already proven he can get to the finals with Shaq and is rated at number 3? If they want to talk about humility and his willing to playing to play second fiddle to Shaq, I remember that before Tmac was traded to Houston he wanted to play with Shaq and knew his role would be second fiddle to Shaq. Has Ray Allen proven something that Tmac hasn't? Is Wade being used to guard the best players? This thing blows. I am sure most of the league still see's Tmac as a SG/SF so I am ok with him still being on this list but where he is placed bothers me. Kobe and Tmac should be 1 and 2. I would understand if Kobe is placed at number 1 on the list too especially since he already has three rings and is in a spotlight franchise like L.A. These two players need to be on top of the list and then Wade right behind them.

    Yes, he has.

He has proven to be a sissy and use flopping and tricks ala Dirk Nowitzki. He has proven to not be anywhere close to T-Mac. T-mac owned him in the playoffs three years ago. Bruce Bowen put him in a straitjacked until Ray Ray went Cry Cry to the refs and made it a news story. So refs started calling everything.

How many times was Ray Allen doubleteamed last year? 0
    Period
