I just get pissed when he slowly runs to the front court and shot from wherever he wants, don't even look at offense, trying to move the ball or find a role player who has better position. He did it so bad that our role players think that they don't need to run, they don't need to shoot because T-Mac won't pass the ball anyway. THAT'S the PROBLEM Even Yao complains at start of the season that the ball was never at his hands and he just runs from front to back, back to front for nothing.
Im starting to doubt this. Yao is becoming very vocal, his had talks to T-mac. Their relationship is very good. Im sure if he has a problem with how McGrady plays he would have told him already. Honestly what i've noticed in the last couple of games, our role players are finding confidence, IN PARTICULAR, Bonzi Wells and Rafer Alston. They are starting to back themselves, which I never saw them do before. Before it was like they were afraid to shoot the ball (Rafer Alston aside, but he was more hesitant to drive). Now i've seen Bonzi is driving with authority on his lay ups, and Rafer is finishing his as well. the key word is with authority. I know this team has flaws, but I really think that the biggest issue is a confidence issue with all the role players, im sure Yao knows this, Im sure Mcgrady knows this. It might explain their comments and actions.
I agree 100%. T-Mac shouldn't be bringing the ball up or handling it like a PG unless he's going to pass. He should be getting his offense off the ball. When T-Mac gets back a healthy Adelman offense will have at least 4-5 guys scoring in double figures and getting somewhere in the neighborhood of 100 points a game. If the Rockets regress back to only two guys scoring in double figures then it's time to rebuild.
