Interesting...there are reports that Jamison is quoted saying this might be his last season as a Wizard. He 'complained' about the numerous trade rumors every offseason.

But I think we're shooting for the stars. The trade seems like it would not benefit the Rockets as much as we think. He does say that he doesn't know if he likes the trade or not. So this could be a risky situation.

just because Francis is complaining and Mutumbo is African doesn't mean the trade involves them.

i'm more convinced now that he really is rudy. here is everything he has posted in this thread, including the title.

i'm assuming rudy is still a scout for the lakers. and the last article i read regarding him he was scouting in memphis. as well as working outside the county working with the US team.

but how would he know strong words were exchanged, unless he's referring to after the game on tuesday?

aww man if we could trade for O'neal. that is way too much salary to match though.

i find it hard to fathom messing with this team right away but who knows.

OK. I think I finally got it.

1 and 2 are separate. 1 is about the Rockets and 2 is about Kobe.

    1) Most likely, RA yelled at Rafer.

    2) This one's about Kobe to the Nuggets. Aging African has to be Kenyon Martin (Kenya... get it?) Note the R in rocket pockets is not capitalized. Anyone know the original name of the Nuggets? Yep, the Rockets... and their original owner made his money from the Ringsby Rocket Trucking Company. Also, he says add some sparks to the new season , but nothing about helping the Rockets... it's just a general NBA interest story. So, AI and Kenyon to LA for Kobe is my guess.

That's my story and I'm sticking to it. Off to bed now.

I have a nasty gut feeling he's talking about T-Mac getting traded

Its quite obvious T(rade)M(ark) is referring to Tmac, since he hit 47 tonight. And its hard to argue trading him since he scored 47 tonight.

All in all it seems the only trade that make sense right now is Tmac+fillers for Kobe+fillers.

It seems more likely now since it appears trade talks seem all but over between the Lakers and Bulls. And on Tuesday night TNT said everybody in the Lakers Organization was in favor of trading kobe.

I agree.. with the way OP laid things out... it really sounded like he was hinting at the Kobe no-trade clause.

Regardless of how much people hate kobe (didn't we hate barkley before he came here?), I could live with it if we win a championship. Isn't that was this game is about?

As much as I like the way the team is playing so far (and I think they showed that we COULD BE championship contenders tonight)... getting kobe for tmac OR yao would be an absolute steal. KOBE SCORED 81 POINTS IN A GAME LAST YEAR. 81 POINTS!

Trading Tmac: We could debate the differences between tmac and kobe all night. Lose: Team play, injury prone, good guy personality. Gain: Championship experience, scoring, nastiness.

Trading Yao: Think about the possibilty of having both kobe and tmac. This one is much more complex because I'd be very iffy with a Hayes/Scola frontcourt. From a money standpoint, you lose CHINA (lol) but gain KOBE F'in BRYANT. Hire 50 PR guys for him, repair his image, and market the hell out of him.

    Make it happen Morey
