As long as Ben Wallace doesn't end up in Houston, and we don't lose our big 2, I wont be too upset. I really don't think we should be looking to make trades right now.

anyone consider the idea that this could be one of the admins posting some insider information as pops? a la LHutz? seems odd for him to randomly pop in after years of silence.

I would certainly hope that is not the case... I have definitely missed Popeyes insight.

By the way, welcome back Pop's good to hear you're doing well.

keep in mind everyone has been saying that in order to trade kobe a third team would have to be involved. What if we are the third team? Francis, and Deke head to LA and we get a player from the third team.......

Maybe, but you have to remember Pops lost most of his inside info when Grumpy's gang came to town. At the risk of beheadings Mum was the word for anyone privy to info.

wasn't OP the one who broke the SF3 trade like a week before it went down? I won serious cred from my buddies in college for predicting that one!

I can guarantee that it's not me or any other admin ... I would never go that. But I do worry that it's not really popeye. It's been over 4 years since his last post. The email on his account is dead -- it doesn't exist (a yahoo account) -- so whoever posted already knew the password.

Deke is still arguably one of the best defensive centers in the game. Plus you cant trade that leadership and veteran expirience he brings with him to the court every night. DEKE FOR PRESEDENT :p

Man, you have to put this on for a post like that.

    <object width="425" height="355"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/Jb1rl8H_odU&rel=1"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/Jb1rl8H_odU&rel=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="355"></embed></object>

It is odd that it seemingly came out of nowhere. However, although it's a very short passage, the writing style is distinctively Popeye. It's got to be him. Who would know his password?

The trade that brought Francis here or the one that sent him away?

Very interesting! Me thinks The Man has hacked into cf.net and is now attempting to unleash his relentless mind control powers.

And more importantly, who would personify him on the first place?

It's Pops. Damn, why did I think he had died?

Land of the Rising Sun is JAPAN not China. I don't think it's Yao. If it is Yao, then OP got his Riddles wrong. :p
