Hey! He also has the signature between-the-legs-behind-the-back crossover that I do on the playgrounds.

Puberty might not treat him well though... still pretty sick skills for a 4'11" kid.

He could play for a high school team right now. The handles and quickness are pretty nice. Im impressed.

I mean this kid is aroudn 12, but what amazes me is not only his dribbling ability and speed, but the range of his jump shot and also his ability to use the left hand to dribble and finish at the rim....obviously way too early to judge his skills from a long term perspective, but that's impressive considering his age....

height is his only limiting factor right now, barring injuries and poor work ethic.

his handles are ridiculous. he has speed and quickness. and his jumpshot is already legit for a guy his size (and like you said, he already has very good range).

    i'm very impressed.

I'm particularly impressed with his shooting range and the quickness of his release. He does have an unorthodox shooting form although I wonder if that's just a function of limited arm strength at that age. Regardless, his shot is very smooth and there was one there he took that was at least 3 feet behind the arc. His extremely quick release and quickness to the hole makes it very difficult to guard him one-on-one. I really hope he grows to be at least 6' tall -- this kid could be better than Chris Paul if he works hard enough.

Seems like a kid with promising skills these days could have medically enhanced height. All it would take is financially motivated parents and a slightly unscrupulous doctor.

I went to O'Donnell Middle School in Alief.

We had 4 guys that were close to or over 6 feet in the seventh grade.

All of them were playing varsity ball in 9th/10th grade for Elsik. I went to the better school..Hastings

He looks good but that is really short for a 12 year old.....most kids are already over 5 feet by then.....

Great moves though, a good eye, and even a crab dribble.

I wouldn't say he is "really short" for a 12 year old. Four of the other eleven kids the same age in that listing are shorter than him.

The kid one year younger is only 4'2"!
