about the only thing worse is listening to reggie miller whine about bosh not posting up every single possession (especially when bosh has 22 and 10 on 50+% shooting). as barkley keeps trying to explain, he's been in the league for 8 years now, he's not going to become barkley or malone all of a sudden. it would be like watching pacers games back in the day and constantly wondering why reggie miller wasn't helping out on the glass or locking down his man. you are who you are after a while. and as much of a spark as johnson was, he's starting to show those weaknesses. turnovers, missed free throws, bad defense after that crazy start.
assuming they still have the rodeo road trip, with the compressed schedule they will probably play even more consecutive road games than usual so they have to make it up somewhere.
You and DraftExpress pretty much nailed it in assessing Ivan Johnson. And Lord, I have not seen a worse offensive sequence than what I just saw the Hawks run.

did that joe johnson 3 get blocked because he shot it about 10 feet short? and i liked josh smith just watching chalmers shoot a potential game winning 3 when his team was up 2. if anything infuriates me more than reggie miller wanting bosh to post up, it's teams giving up 3's when up 2 at the end of a game, especially wide open 3's off of simple picks set by a big man who is no threat to dive to the basket for a catch and a layup. edit: and as often as i don't think charles pays much attention to strategy or player's strengths and weaknesses, he's been pretty spot on with a lot of things tonight.

Barkley needs to do more commentary. His condescending attitude towards bad plays, stupid players, and dumb comments from Reggie is great entertainment. Only reason to watch this game.
