Durant is one heck of a scorer. But he has an extremely ugly stroke. Maybe it's the lack of elevation on the shot, but it's not smooth at all imo.
lebron is shutting down durant; that was his first make basket in the 2nd half and bron is playing PG. he can score anytime he wants; he's picking his spots.
nice job by the refs to F up the heat's momentum? up 8 and a fairly obvious hack on the arm on wade's drive that could've made it 10, they ignore it, which not only takes 2 away from the heat, but gives 2 to the thunder on the semi-break, and then a 3rd point on wade's technical for arguing an obvious foul call he should have gotten. now it's suddenly a 2 point game and it looks like miam will lose another close game that shouldn't be close.

he deserved the tech in terms of the rules but he wouldn't have been yelling if a pretty easy call is made. an out of position defender hacked down on him and the ball popped up off the backboard. kind of hard to call that all ball. so a 3 ft swing on that non-call.
the more i watch him, the more i think joel anthony might be the most uncoordinated person around a basketball i've ever seen. if he somehow grabs the ball instead of batting it, he's a good bet to lose it or travel or throw the pass away. he hustles and plays D, but damn.
Westbrook should become the best on ball defender for his position in a couple of years. That guy has absolutely everything needed to be a terrific defender.

no way. oden certainly has his problems, but he can actually catch a ball and dunk and even make a move (although his footwork leaves something to be desired) and finish. anthony literally just has to have someone come take the ball out of his hands.
