I agree. But with that being said, Curry was at his most PG-like during his first year with Nelson. After Smart took over, things weren't the same.
Curry is a great guard. He(warriors in general)need to just play basketball and he'd be fine. Like I been harping on all of these behind the back passes (not making the simple play) is what lost them the game tonight. They need more discipline is all.
I wonder if Smart asked him to take it to another level (like playing both ends of the floor) and Curry wasn't willing, which led to the reports of a rift between them and Smart's ouster. One last thing before I go to bed, you guys who said OKC should trade Westbrook for Curry really look dumb. I'm glad Sam Presti is smarter than you guys. If WB was on the "Warriors", everybody on their mentally creampuff roster would probably be scared of the Honey Badger. Then again, fear of ticking him off by playing like girls might make them play pedal-to-the-metal and become a tougher squad.
I'm sure someone else has probably mentioned but I can't believe the Magic only scored 56 points tonight. That's sad..
you're right, what I meant to say was after that rookie season he looked like he was going be a great PG. Lighting it up in college and mostly shooting, everyone thought he was just going to be another JJ redick type of player. He surprised many with his actual PG ability. After his rookie season he seamed poised to make strides in his game/skills. I thought he would be a better game manager by now.
