10 Years ago today... This was the last time the Rockets won a game as time expired (at the buzzer). (Source: BasketballReference)

My favorite Yao/Tmac squad. By the end of the season that team chemistry was a thing of beauty. Weasly, Barry, James, Sura all had great chemistry with each other and knew where to find each other in their favorite spots on the court. Miss that chemistry. Also that was pre-injury Yao:(

I immediately thought of the Steve Novak game winner that kept our 22-game winning streak alive. I could have sworn it was at the buzzer, but after checking on youtube it looks like it wasn't quite.

The offense was a thing of beauty late in the season. The best offense during the JVG era (I know that's not saying much but still)

That's crazy, we've had plenty of game winners late in the clock but no time expiring ones indeed. Last few years, we've had:
Harden a few times, tip-in by Johnson this year, Steve Novak had one, Aaron Brooks had a few I think, Von Wafer had one, Battier had one, T-mac had a few.

I remember that game. The Rockets nearly choked that one away before Padgett saved them. I can't believe it's been 10 years already.

If only Parson's layup against Portland in Game 6 of last year's playoffs was 0.9 seconds later....

I remember last year Dirk made a buzzer beater and ESPN had a slide that show past buzzer beaters since 2000 that beat the Knicks at MSG, and Padgett was on that slide, having no luck finding a screenshot of it

There was the Aaron Brooks alley-oop versus the Lakers but I believe that was the halftime buzzer. :)

Does this mean K-Pap (The White Padgett) will hit a game winner tonight?

Same here. I think Drexler had one versus Denver at some point during his first season.
