    I hate this thread, no way should a simple math problem warrant this much discussion. And if it did, I would rather not see how dumb people can be so this thread's existence and it's 4 pages annoy the hell out of me.

    That was the first thing I saw too until I saw the answer choices. I worked it out in various forms using parentheses. I copied and pasted it the computer calculator and that says 15:eek:

    (1 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 1) -( 1 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 1) + (1 x 0) = ?

    (1 + 1) + (1 + 1) + (1 + 1) + (1 + 1) + (1 + 1) + ( -1 + 1) + (1 + 1) + (1 + 1) + (1 x 0) = ?

    (1 + 1) + (1 + 1) + (1 + 1) + (1 + 1) + (1 + 1) - ( 1 + 1) + (1 + 1) + (1 + 1) + (1 x 0) = ?

    (1 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 1) + (1 - 1) +( 1 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 1) + (1 x 0) = ?



    Parentheses make a huge difference. duhhhhhh:grin:

    I was going to say... we have seen this before.... but is this one a bit different than the last one.. I was thinking it had a divide in it.

    Anywho... as a person who was going to teach math, it disturbs me on how many of you have forgotten the simplest rules

    I think I must have factored it incorrectly. That or the wrong number to find the sqr root of. I used Einstein's relativity equation.
