Äre there clutchcity members out there that live outside of the US?

In 1994 they broadcastet the finals of the NBA here in Norway. I was only 8years at the time. So of course I made the winning team my favourite one. The last games broadcastet in Norway was the 95finals, so now I have to order games from www.pontel.com to be able to watch games. I order games regularly now a days. I have been a loyal fan ever since 1994. A couple of years back I got internet. This was sort of a revolution for me, (Norway is one of the poorest basketball nations in the world. They never broadcast any NBA news). So when I got internet I could study every box score, and a lot of Rockets news. 8 months ago I got cable connection to my internet, so today I can surf the net whenever I want to. One day my cousin stumbled across this site, so knowing that I'm a huge Rockets fan he alerted me of this site. Today I'm still one of the few Rockets fans in Norway, and I visit clutchcity.net many times every day.

Im 17 years now. And I plan to study in the USA schoolyear 2004-05. Hopefully I can finally realize a dream of attending a Rockets game.

 

wow I was in jakarta indonesia too, actually my mother works there now.. did you go to JIS or were you older when you were there?

 

Simple: I lived in Houston befor going in Africa!
Lived near Nottingham,went to Awty International School,but only saw one game at the Summit(95-96: Hou-Phx,Barklay injured Drexler in that game,the next year he was traded to the Rox)

I'm a french fan of the Rox since Drexler went in Houston.
I live in east of France ( 500 kms from Paris ) in a city called Montbéliard. We have a good soccer team: Sochaux from whom i'm a big big fan and i'm administrator of a fan website about this team: www.planetesochaux.com where my name is Clyde.

I hated the Rox with a passion until Sir Charles got traded to them. I was so mad that my man Barkley had to be traded to a team I absolutely reviled (because they beat the Barkley-led Suns twice in back-to-back playoffs, correct me if I'm wrong). I fought sleepiness at 4am just to catch Game 7 in '94 or '95, only to get smacked by the "Kiss of Death".

But all is well now. Since Charles retired, it has been hard for me to root for another team. Closest team to my heart now, next to the Rox, is Sacramento (cuz they hate the Lakers just as we all do, and have been eliminating Utah year after year, hehe.).

I've been here since the ClutchCity.com days. On the day of the Barkley trade, I clicked a link that said "For more info on the Houston Rockets, go to ClutchCity.com" on some online newspaper. I loved Clutch's interface and presentation, so here I am!

Many of my newer friends think that I'm a Rox fan because Yao is Chinese and so am I. I love telling them the story you just read. It was pure luck that Yao landed on a team I was already endeared to.

 

I am a contributing Singapore Clutch fan from after moving from Houston in '98 - the site provides about my best lifeline back to Houston.

Actually, to be honest, I was born in Adelaide. Although I'd never tell anyone in Melbourne. It's not as bad as saying you were born in Sydney, though.
