Batman: Arkham Asylum (video game)

those screens are pretty old. anywho, yeah -- graphically the game looks good. I'll wait until I see some gameplay before I pass judgement though. also, eidos is producing it and at this point I'd don't trust them any farther than I can throw them (I can't throw eidos in case you were wondering).

 

Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill who have voiced Batman and the Joker for years have been cast for the game.

 

14 foot Killer Croc? Really? And was that Bane or some random inmate that could hide 3 NFL linemen in his shadow?

Graphics do look insane. I assume they're in-game (between action) videos.

BTW, I think some stores have a demo of the game on display (Best Buy and GameStop specifically IIRC). Don't know which locations though.

 

I was planning on playing Infamous in June before my son is born and life gets insane. But I've been thinking about picking up this game instead.

 

This looks pretty good. Batman video games are generally big disappointments, so I hope this one delivers.

 

They've been releasing trailers for the villains the past few days. This game increasingly looks like it could indeed be the ultimate comic book game ever.

Hope this game is good because I've actually been looking forward to it. That collector set is pretty sweet

It might be time to buy a used PS3 or XBox because there are going to be lots of cool games that don't make it onto Wii. That's my plan.

I'm bummed that they pushed it back 2 weeks. I was trying to decide between this and Infamous. My son is due July 5, and I wanted to get one last game in before life gets insane.

With Infamous being bumped up 2 weeks, it looks like I'll go that route. I'm looking forward to playing this sometime in the fall.
