I think it’s a very poor draft at the top, but I think there’s a lot of value in the late 1st/early 2nd.
Note Clingan is basically 7’2” without shoes. Monster.
since this draft is so flat and a guy picked at #34 has a good chance to be better than the guy picked at #12, is buying an early 2nd or moving up...
If Clingan is BPA at #3 you take him, trade Landale, let him learn for a year behind Stephen Adams, then he takes over backup center in year 2....
Truth testing this idea. If we are trying to entice a team to trade up to #3, I think the most likely target will be Clingan. This assumes...
I have since proposed the #3 for #7 and a future 1st idea to my Portland friends and they say I must have eaten one of Bobby Kennedy’s brain worms.
teams that are rebuilding or need to rebuild: Washington Portland Charlotte Utah San Antonio Toronto Chicago Detroit Golden State? Atlanta?...
Sarr is still considered tiers below what a traditional #1 pick is. I actually think it’s probable that other prospects in the top 10 end up...
this whole draft exercise is such a disservice to this kid. Not sure why Lebron can’t see that.
he lost me when he started comparing Ron Holland to Jalen Green.
another g-league ignite project? I get that he’s got tools and size, but he’s so far away from contributing and the shooting…yuck. I would be...
He’s good. I think he’ll go higher than folks think. I think there’s gonna be excellent value 20-40 in this draft. It’s terrible at the top,...
nothing to do with StoneZ’s trip to France, but I get the feeling Risacher is on their short list as well. Shooting, length and defense….and...
The vertical jump helps me forget he’s 6’2”. I’m running out of reasons not to be all in on Shepard.
Great points, but you aren’t concerned about the 6’2” height on the wing? That would be the shortest 2-guard in the league. Maybe I’m over...
thanks for this. I guess I’m fixated on Shepard needing to play some point because if he was playing a lot of 2 he’d be the shortest 2 in the...
it’s interesting. I hadn’t considered the idea of trading up. How much better is Sarr than the other top prospects? I don’t know much about...
it’s an interesting point about Amen. I agree, the org is gonna want to eventually run the offense through him, which makes Shepard less of an...
Im disappointed in the combine measurements, but I’m comfortable with drafting Shepard #3 IF he can play point guard. I’ll be seeking out info on...
