agree. i doubt manu could've led the rockets without yao like tmac did. but he's definitely more efficient at scoring now that tmac's shooting's gone.
last year, it's on him so he took shots and failed. this year it's on the team so he passed. it doesn't matter really either way. he's not good...
there's no rule that says iverson can't gain more weight. if more weight helps, he will get that.
the problem is when he had yao, he couldn't get it done either. and he could've shot better. 9 for 22 just ain't that good.
when amare played center for the suns, before shaq's arrival, i'm pretty sure amare outproduced the opposing centers as much as yao did if not more.
I actually like gasol's game but let's not get carried away. laker shaq would've dropped 50 on these small ball nuggets.
utah is just better. and there's no reason why they would play less hard. it's futile.

no that excuse won't cut it now. we had yao last year and we completed 22 wins streak without yao.

that's just the scoring. overall, his playoff stat line isn't that much more impressive than, say, dirk's, which most of the board label a playoff...
in any one game, he can outplay those guys, see his game against bron this year...international game is a short tournament and manu can be as good...

dirk isn't a choker until the gs series...and he didn't choke in all 6 games...our stars choked in a lot of big games too.
