They had plenty of time and yet didn't acquire a good substitute. They replaced Jordan with Pete Myers. That's basically the equivalent of...
I'm sad about this, if true. Morey was far from perfect, but he's still an upper-echelon GM. Not to mention, coaches who also handle GM duties...
The team doesn't have to fall apart without him for him to be the MVP. Even if they are, say, a 53 win team without him, they won 73 with him....
Tough competition. This is actually a really good era for coaches. I couldn't fit Rivers or Stotts in and I think both are quite good.

I think the Warriors are on the Cavaliers' level without Curry, but they'd get smoked by the Spurs. For the sake of a good WCF and Finals, I hope...
Yeah, we lucked out to face one of the juggernauts who lost their best player...and still pretty much got destroyed.
I think the Warriors will want to get Curry into a second-round game, if it's safe, to knock off the rust before the Spurs series. Curry came back...
Yeah, that's awesome. We can also point to failed player prospects and trade away all our draft picks. Steve Kerr was a prospect....
