asik isnt as bad when he posts vs catch n dunk. and smith had some success from the post early this season. even morris and pat are not super...
the problem is the offense itself. too much emphasis on shooting 3s and almost none on posting up.
it goes against the offensive philosophy of taking efficient shots only ie 3pts and layups.... dumb if you ask me... :mad:
meh its useless anyways... asik cant pick n pop and the high pnr puts him too far away from the rim to be an effective roller... so if you pnr...
the 3pt & layup only philosophy has peaked. we all knew in the back of our minds they couldnt sustain that offensive output...
another game, another chance to expose this joke of an offense.
he simply doesnt fit in this 3pts and layups only offense. hes good with pnr and a big that can finish. hes good when he is "allowed" to shoot 2s....
imo the fundamental flaw for this team is SIZE AND ATHLETICISM at the 4. asik is but one man. and smith is very green. we need a post presence on...
i have this feeling even if lin gets voted in by the fans, he will let CP3 or harden start instead... he just seems like that kinda guy...
the only thing lin needs, in terms of scoring, is a mid range jumper and a floater. that's it. he's not a 3pt shooter, never was, and asking him...

the "problem" with harden drawing fouls is that he seems to almost rely on drawing the foul. look at the plays where the foul isnt called. those...
again he moves very well for a big. if the defense leaves him all alone, he can cut, and he finishes very well. also i believe he has a decent mid...
