I think we need a defensive/rebouding PF more than an offensive PF, someone long, athletic, lean.... think Nene.. or even a poor man's Nene...
then why not just trade for a better PF? this is basically wasting Artest's biggest strength, which is lock down defense on the wing, power...
would you place Lebron on PF and let him defend Duncan? me either.. same goes with Artest.
He is quick and he is super strong, that's why Artest's biggest mismatch is on the SF.
Artest's biggest strength is on the wing, he should be defending L.James, Kobe, D.Wade...rather than Duncan, Boozer....... It's like playing...
MJ is like an older/upgraded/more expensive version of L.Head.....he's a gunner, not a pure PG... I think by signing MJ, we are probably going...
MJ will be coming off the bench, playing Head's role. Rafer will start. Head will be packaged with some other players to trade for a starting...

Battier is as good as it goes for a role player, every team needs one of those. Batter is a younger, better version of bruce bowen.

I think Head is fine, he just needs more playoff games to feel comfortable. too bad he didn't have chance to do that..

1. Diaw can't defend Duncan, 2. Diaw can't defend Boozer 3. Diaw can't even stop Dirk so why do we need a overpriced and undersized PF ?
Billy can penetrate, and he can dish... but at the of the day, he still need to upgrade his Jumpshot.....

regardless, Novak will have to play D and get some rebounds as a PF, or he won't see court time.
