It's not that they are struggling - this is just a really bad lineup. They are missing Lowrie and Springer (and should get used to missing those...
They're actually not a great team considering how bad their pitching is. This was the Tony Sipp show again. He's to AJ Hinch what Jerome Williams...
It's been the same two guys 80% of the time - Sipp and Qualls. These guys are nails in blowouts, but when there's inherited runners or a tight...
Just for kicks - if we exclude Velazquez, Mccullers and Correa, the system is really hard to rank until we see which guys are for real this...
Sigh....
White Sox trying to get VV's pitch count up so that Qualls or Sipp cab get into the game by the sixth. It's a winning strategy against the Astros.
There seems to be an emphasis this draft on contact hitters and control pitchers. I like it.
I'd prefer Benintendi to Bregman. I know you're not supposed to scout the stats, but one national player of the year and the other is a player...
The offense has really struggled as well against pretty pedestrian pitching. A dearth of contact hitters has really hurt the team. 3b/ss is...

Yup schedule is going to get tougher and so is the AL West. Still lots to like with Carter/Gattis heating up and McCullers emerging.
Tucker's bad would've been nice in both the innings with guys on 3rd nobody out. Instead we use him as a pinch runner on second with two outs and...
LOL preston tucker being used as a pinch runner............
Right now we're losing this game by using Marwin/Qualls over Tucker/Neshak.
Nothing new from Qualls - not sure why Hinch had him face the top of their order
This team will need to learn to manufacture runs if it wants to take the next step. Teams like the Giants/Cardinals win championships with sac...
For a guy with an ERA well under 2, he's 0-1 with a 3.85 ERA against them. It's all relative with Keuchal this year.
And on the other side, all lefthanders have the Astros number. Not looking forward to playing the White Sox and their four lefties again.
