The really sad part is all of us complaining on here about Diaz could literally hit no worse than him in post season. Let that sink in.
If you are going to play Diaz (big mistake) why in the world would he be hitting higher than 9th???

Honestly the pitcher hitting wouldn't do any worse. Except for that 1 RBI Mancini got against the Yanks they have done absolutely nothing good.

Our hitters only have 27 outs and Dusty giving the Phillies an automatic 4 right off the bat by playing Diaz.
We didn't need a big hit. Diaz just making contact could have scored a darn run.
