Personally, I don't think either Manny or A-Rod belong in the hall. I agree with you that Manny never played a clean inning professionally in his...
The only reason the Astros Farm system keeps getting dogged on is the fact that all the talent keeps making the majors. Shame Pena won't come out...
HOF voting is a popularity contest. Manny Ramierez put up nearly 70 WAR over nearly two decades in the league, was the best player on multiple...
I look at Garcia's progression this year, and there's much to be excited about. His SO/BB ratio is up this year, thanks to cutting down on the...
One wonders if he keeps all three fastball variants, or if one of those pitches is clearly inferior and gets dropped, ala: Verlander’s two seamer.
What's lost in the walkoff is that the bomb wasn't even Yordan's most impressive feat of the night. That would be the amazing read he made on the...

Yordan's got a 1.166 OPS with the bases empty, .800 with the bases juiced, and .942 with RISP. Tucker's rocking .825 with the bases empty, 1.455...

Astros employing a brilliant new strat used against us, we'll waste all their runs in game 1 and win the series via shutouts.
I remember Jake complaining last year about how he always got yanked after 5 because he kept getting lit up third time through the rotation....
Time to buy tickets onboard the hype train. Forrest Whitley starts tonight in Sugar Land.
I'm still in favor of a 6-man rotation as a concept, but I'd like to see Brown and later Lance in that spot. Sucky game, but there's better...
I agree with you that banning the shift is awful, but I still don't get how anyone was ever a fan of watching pitchers strike out on every at bat.
There can be no electronic strike zone if it's not calibrated for every player. You give Altuve a 6' 2" guy's zone and he'll bat .150 with a 60% K%.
