We tend to forget how long it takes most of these guys to develop into NBA players, they are coming in younger than ever and really raw as...
They have a whole team full of shooters and no one who can rebound or defend.
I think it's pretty much a wash between Booker & Green with the way they have played this season .... I don't think Booker is worth the 35% cap...
If James Andrew Jones calls, Stone should not even bother answering. They have nothing to offer. Use or trade those picks later.
Even with that ~$80m coming off the cap, they can only create ~$19.2m in cap space in the offseason - if they renounce all of their free agents....
I was one of the few who liked the Brooklyn trade and the trade for the PHX picks. Don't forget the Rockets still own swap rights with the Nets...
Along with draft picks being much more valuable, I think we'll also see much fewer max contracts. Teams are going to be very hesitant to give out...
I think most teams would have given Reed a bit more run and allowed for some mistakes rather than pulling him after a missed shot or whatever .......
I don't see them as comparable. Jabari isn't a star and probably doesn't have a hell of a lot of upside but he is also a valuable piece, a 3 & D...
Jabari at that 5/130 ($26m per) feels like a bargain to me. That's 61% of his max and I feel that's a very team friendly number. No, I don't...
I don't disagree .... but I didn't simply say extend FVV, I stated extend or replace I've been ahead of the curve on that wanting to replace him...
I like Jabari .... he'd been playing well before the injury. I just don't know that he's a max money guy, he is a very good complimentary player...
Not with the new apron rules - unless you are a sure fire top 2-4 team, you want to stay away from that 2nd apron - its a killer.
Just to clarify - Booker isn't getting the secondary assist (hockey assist) he's getting the actual assist from whoever passed the ball to him to...
You took that entirely wrong .... What I said is he isn't initiating the offense, he's not playing the point, he's getting a lot of assists in...
League wide is 35.9% Adding in centers & forwards only bringing down the total 1%. I'd have thought it would be more.
That's exactly where I got the stats from, it's quite possible it hadn't been updated at that time. It wasn't long ago that both Green & FVV...
Of course I know what a hockey assist is and I stand by my statement - He isn't initiating the play; he catches in the flow of the offense and...
I liked Dosunmu in the draft .... he's turned into a solid player, even with the inconsistent shooting. I don't know about playing the point....
I doubt either of them would cost more than MLE money and maybe less .... Jones has a better assist to turnover ratio that FVV and is a 40%...
