and Harden jacking up shot and shot despite horrible shooting didn't almost cost them the game?
Harden poor shooting night...he needs to start shooting less and be more of a facilitator.
Until Harden starts being at least some effort on D, he will be as much of a leader as Melo.
sucker's bet. obviously take the under.
Harden really needs to work on his D.
A better question is whether or not McHale actually coaches during the final 5 minutes...unless you consider 5 minutes of ISO Harden coaching.
still better than that garbage response he gave during post game.
Considering the fact that Lin's clutch stats are comparable (if not better) to Harden, it's mind boggling how he's ranked 5th on the team in FGA...
different backup PG, same mind-boggling 4th quarter decision by McHale. Old article written last month, but still holds true....
OP is referring the the constant 4th quarter benchings of Asik and Lin, not the actual bench players.
I see. So McHale limits a healthy Lin to 25 minutes to protect him from injury, but plays Harden (who still hurting from the knee collision) 39...
He was playing too good, so McHale benched him as usual.
My bad, Lin's 4th quarter PER was second to only Chris Paul, not Lebron. "At the time he was shut down -- presumably for the rest of this season...
In his 25 games as a starter for the Knicks last season, he had the 2nd highest 4th quarter PER, behind only Lebron.
he obviously meant bogus coach.
The Rockets give up 104.7 pts per 100 possessions (24th). It's not good, but not really that bad either considering you have teams like Miami...
this...Lin gets hot early; benched with 4 minutes left in the first and sits out for like 10 minutes. Comes back and is ice cold. Been happening...
Lin is averaging 12.6 pts on 10.7 shot attempts, or around 1.18 pts per attempt, which ranks 19th amongst PGs in the league, not great but not bad...
because Lin is a ball dominant PG who isn't allowed to be ball dominant. He's basically sharing his PG position with Harden who also happens to...
and FYI, Magic Johnson's career usage is 22.26% http://www.basketball-reference.com/leaders/usg_pct_career.html
