Man Phillips is actually pretty small. Listed at 6' 175lbs but looks closer to 5'10 170lb
Scouting report on Phillips Above average to plus defense in CF (55-60) Above average to plus arm (55-60) Above average speed (55)...
Brett Phillips is still raking. First hr in High A
80 pitches in 4 innings. Not exactly efficient. Nibbling too much perhaps? I wanna see him attacking hitters and beating them with his fastball.
Maybe from a hitting perspective...but man I really would like to have a prototypical 3B at some point to give us 25+ home runs.
Was he? I don't recall this ever.
I just don't think Moran has the natural swing to produce home runs.
Anyone have the Baseball America article written about Rio Ruiz? Just posted today on their site.
Colin Moran = Bill Spiers? Line drive hitting lefty 3B with below average power but will hit around .300 with solid defense?

Vincent Velasquez is back in action tonight! Dominated in his rehab assignment. Hope to get him on the fast track to AA to start next season.
PLEASE PROMOTE BRETT PHILLIPS! Really would like him to stick with Correa and Ruiz so they can all come up at the same time.
Brett Phillips needs to get promoted already. What are they waiting for??
Did we sign any high schoolers this year?
My bad, 44 games.
He did show wood bat power in the Cape Cod league in 2012 though, 8 hr in 44ab against top competition.
Anybody look at Conrad Gregor's home/away splits? Home .398 with 9 hr Away .302 with 2 hr
Are these guys hammering Appel or something? Only shows 3 extra base hits all game and he only gave up 1 walk.
But how are other pitchers doing well in Lancaster?? VV, Hader, etc.
Game is 3 weeks away. Maybe Correa is back in time.
