phily has a reason to play and bos doesn't, as evident by allen and kg sitting out...
that game was pointless to the rockets... it doesnt matter if they lost or won (as it turned out)
phily all the way
its happened to me a couple years ago someone in california (im in texas) went to the bank and withdrew large sums of money from my savings...
those earlier losses to garbage teams for us are happening to other top teams towards the end of the season ie for jazz, spurs, hornets
it only affects portland at this point
how does san antonio affect this scenerio?
spurs game doesnt matter
ditto
it doesn't matter what spurs do...based on your scenario
utah owns tiebreakers on both dallas and new orleans
that game isnt as important to the rockets' division chances as you may think. they would have to lose to gs tonight for it to mean...
740am
just ask the 93-95 rockets if they had to play the sonics to be champions
not if the blazers win out...they would get hca on us
ok, so what happens if they win against gs and lose against hornets...can we still go 1-1 and win the division? yes we can
and we can afford a loss if spurs beat gs and lose to hornets.... under both scenerios we can take a loss therefore: the gs game DOESNT...
not necessarily... a. if utah loses to lakers, hornets possibly still need to win that game against spurs (assuming loss to hou) to stay ahead...
even if they beat gs, they can still lose to no and we can still go 1-1 so no it doesn't matter anymore
you are correct because conference record tiebreaker comes after division record and thats all we have left to play....we need to win out or if...
