I think Yao is get Star treatment if not super-star calls this year. On the other hand, Scola is murdered by refs so far.

Last year, Rockets had two big holes: PG and PF. When I look at it now, these two big holes are getting bigger.
While most teams can beat Bobcats by 20 or 30s, but Bobcats are obviously BETTER than sluggish Rockets!!!

Except for the position that TMac is at, PG is the second highest in term of payroll, however, we are getting nothing from them.

We lost because we didn't play team basketball, and shot poorly as a team: TMac went 12 for 31, Rafer, Shane, Mike, Wells....
Look at how Yao and Rafer play, how come Rocket did not lose last season's playoff.

Put some into D-league and trade them away when opportunity comes. That's how I would handle it. I think our GM is smarter than me and he can do...
Scola for sure. There is always some learning required. I call that investement.
