Brandon Roy got a lot of his open looks from pick and rolls with Yao's man. Yao was either slow in challenging or stayed put and dared him to...
Oh, I don't know. I remember Alston pretty much owning Jason Terry for most of last season.
Well, that was helpful.
I just did. Thanks a lot.
Oh for god's sake - Battier had two straight airballs against the Lakers. Get some perspective, PLEASE.
McGrady was being dogged by two defenders. It would have been a risky pass, and Alston played safe.
I think it'd been said multiple times before, on this thread no less, that the Blazers are a pretty decent team. Stop demanding the Rockets blow...
Rafer Alston was +11 against the Blazers, third highest after Scola and Yao. Mike James was a -2.
... that made no sense whatsoever.
Blazers actually ended up shooting better than the Rockets did. Considering that they started out shooting 29%, that's pretty damn impressive.
I wouldn't say they were "awful". They missed Dampier's and Howard's rebounding, and the Hawks are a pretty solid team this season.
Wow, the boxscore at NBA.com says that Przybilla is a -20. That's a big black hole the Blazers have.
T-Mac makes everyone look good.
I think I have a man-crush on Luis Scola.
Ye gods, are we so spoiled that we think 25/6/6 is a BAD thing?
You forgot about San Antonio.
Geez, overreact much?
I wouldn't put too much stock into this until a couple more games have been played. You can't get an accurate stat out of just two games.
I'm a little amused at most people here being so dismissive of a Blazers team that played quite competitively against the Spurs on opening night....
Sounds a little too close to "cholera" for my liking...
