I wouldn't interpret it as DM not loving Miller, He's a perfect RA player. Its has more to do with Yao possibily getting hurt again this year.
Will Yao's leg hold up this year? Nobody knows. It make sense to me that Morey could be interested in guy like Dampier for vet minimum.
