Probably not the thread to throw this 2 cents, but I think LMJ would be a better long reliever or even the closer.
Can't paint the corners anymore at will, so forced to throw hittable balls to try to get strikes.
LMJ losing control a little, fatigue maybe setting in.
McNair had a Howard Cosell moment.
Awesome win but Giles needs to be left on the tarmac.
I thought about this before the start of the series, send a sacrificial starter other than DK against Kershaw, and match up DK against maybe...
Seriously who has a better infield defense than Breg, Correa, and Altuve? Yuli not bad either considering 1st not his natural position.
Kershaw's hitch reminds me of Chuck Hayes' hitch.
LMJ almost pulled a Lidge fbomb.
Verlander isn't going to get run support either, looks like over in 6 and the small headline for the Astros is this prolific offense went cold,...
Media gonna get what they want, Yanks vs Dodgers.
If DK or JV got that 4 run lead, this would have been a W. If we have to play small ball for games 5 and 6 to get runs, then do it.
It' all down to DK and JV to close it out, if this goes to 7 does not favor Stros.
I forgot to say lately.
DK isn't known to go the distance.
Who's gonna be the bullpen for DK tomorrow?
Need an insurance run because Giles is good for a homer when he comes in.
I tip my hat to Lance, he pitched great but home runs can shake a young pitcher up especially this big stage, don't fault Hinch for pulling him.
Why would you not want one of your 2 aces to close out the series?
Lance has never went beyond the 7th*, wonder if Hinch will give him a vote of confidence and leave him in there. *not that I know of
