Why would they want a just draft pick if they want are serious in wanting to make playoffs this year? I mean Im not complaining they can have our picks but still, I see T jones or a Kpap being shipped as well, and it still hurts us somewhat in the frontcourt with either of those two out.
Thanks for posting link...in the midst of all the McHale trashing, Dorsey bashing, and DM roasting, it is hard to find good info.
Dragic doesn't seem happy there. And if they know he is leaving they may think they can turn that pick into something useful? I dunno that does seem low.
Dmo Tjones Papa Smith Harden Draft man we could mindf*** our opponents by playing an all left handed team hahaha :grin:
Yeah, that guy has been proven to be a perennial joke with his predictions. I think Dragic might go, but it's going to take a serious impact front court player.
During the Pau Gasol-Chris Paul trade hoopla, Woelfel reported that Jordan Hill was going to New Orleans in the trade. He's had some decent stuff and some bad stuff. This is too vague for me to put too much stock in it, but it's so dry for hope on getting Dragic that we'll take what we can get, I guess. I put more stock in this article posted already in a few threads yesterday:
he has been saying he wants to test free agency. So a first round pick for a player who may leave you (after half the season) may be a lot. I don't know really, just hoping that's all they want and trying to justify their thinking, but who knows. Do any other contenders looking for a PG have a better pick than our pelicans?
Sounds like they're going to be asking for a big and a 1st rounder. T Jones + Pels pick should get it done if Morey's up for it.
If Goran Dragic had been on the team last night, I say we win. He wouldn't have missed that many threes. He would have had several assists, several drives, several critical passes. He would be the "difference" on this team in many games and in the playoffs. We need size in the middle, but we need Dragic most of all.
