Felt the same, we can't be sure until next episode. Definitely didn'T feel right from the way it ended with only sound.
All the story lines came to a close. It was a great series....sad that it's over, but it had to end eventually.
Gillian did some awful things but I sure do understand and empathize with her a lot more now. What a tragic story.
tommy never came to mind, wish they had been able to take it a few more seasons, under the circumstances this season was pretty good, cadence of young nucky was extremely well done
I fell asleep halfway through and woke up during the closing credits. Didn't have much motivation to rewind and catch up. Guess I'll check it out during my lunch break. But I wasn't feeling Nook's defeated demeanor. He should've just bailed and got in on the oil boom in Texas.
Really wanted Luciano, Torrio, and Meyer to get their ass handed to them first, but otherwise, all good.
Nucky wasn't meant to be a literal translation of Enoch L. Johnson, they just took inspiration from the real life person. Yeah that would have been great but that wouldn't happen for many years later....
Loved the series. Not a lot of happy endings, but that's how a life in crime goes. Nucky ruined three generations of Darmodys. In the end, he was Spoiler capped under the eye just like Jimmy was. For me, the most tragic death on the show was Chalky's daughter. Not only did she die so young, but it pretty much destroyed Chalky and Harrow, as well. So many great characters in this show, and such a great cast.
I'm surprised everyone here enjoyed the finale. I just think they killed off the characters and ended the show in a huge rush. I didn't like season 5 much....it would have been better just ending it after 4.
