Eh, we have hatred of bad basketball. We criticize Harden and no nutballs bring noise making excuses for him. We criticize McHale, Parsons, Beverley and again no nutballs come with whiny excuses. But Lin, oh man you dare criticize him and it's an avalanche of stupidity blaming everyone else for his play. Pathetic indeed.
Lin is not as classy as the chinatown crowd makes him out to be - the passive aggressive +ENTITLED religious tweets showed his true colors. Regardless, like Ryan Bowen, I hope he can carve out a career in the league and be appreciative of the opportunities he gets despite having subpar talent.
lol tinman and RedRedemption being the top 2 posters in this thread. You both love Lin, just admit it.
You should seriously just give this a rest. It is making you look silly. You don't like Lin or his fans or whatever. We get it and that is cool. So just let this appreciation thread die out and that will be the end of it. Instead, you seem to be resuscitating this thing and perpetuating it.
This will give Bev an excuse to harrass Lin for that many games rockets n lakers will meet. Nice tactic, be friendly off court n then kill him on court.
What is this a lin forum? Since when is it illegal to voice our opinion good or bad in an appreciation thread. Yes the point is to appreciate but also to say some words about the entire stint as somewhat of a closure. Deal with it
tinman just cannot let go... just move on. cannot wait what other surprise Morey got for us, i.e. plan C.. One day, Jeremy Lin will look back at his career and his time with the Rockets, and be thankful on how his stint with the Rockets had exposed him and forced him to improve. The hype is now gone, just an average NBA player continuing his journeyman experience to be a better player.
And the Portland fans were ecstatic that Lin was on the bench and Harden was still on the floor with .9 left...sheer genius. You keep picking on one of the guys who played his heart out in the playoffs.. May want to look at the rest of your roster (and coach) for reasons why the 1st round is the only round.
Lin fans are sensitive. When Ron artest left, he didn't get a bunch of cry baby newbs like Lin attracts. Maybe it's because he accomplished so much more than Lin ever did with the rockets
He has a one year contract. Lakers are loading up on one year rentals for next off season to try to attempt to sign another big free agent in the 2015 off season. His "bright future" will most likely be one year and he's out the door.
I'm sure that some factories in third world countries are already working their slaves to death churning out this.
