Face it, Lin ****ing sucks. And that's the only American-Asian to ever represent in this league. The only guy you have ****ing sucks
Absolutely cannot sign Parsons without Bosh... Together would have been a championship team... Now Parsons is worthless... Use all the money to go after other players...
Absolutely, everyone is entitled to making their decision, and Bosh is included, that's my point. Even if he left like a little b****.
LOL stop.....you expected him not to have a backup plan to eject from a sinking ship? You don't think Morey's ever told a prospect or FA, "hey i'm really interested...just hold off on signing etc etc" and then turned around and not signed the guy? Get over it! If Bosh went to OKC or something people would be screaming he can't deal with adversity and is taking the easy way out. But if he came to Houston, that'd be ignore.
Just to heal some of the wounds, realize this. Bosh's contract will be the worst contract in the NBA by the end of it's tenure. In fact, I'm pretty sure in 2 years, it'll be the worst contract. He's aging and his game will not age well enough to justify $23 million/year when he's 33. Look at the bright side. We have James Harden and we have Dwight Howard. If we match Parsons, then we'll have him too. It's still a good core and we'll still have money to work with to fill out the rest of our squad. We have a nice group of young guys headed by a veteran Center. It's not all that bad. Don't be spoiled by the rumors that were circulating about Lebron/Melo/Bosh coming to Houston. We still have a good team. We will still be exciting to watch. A coaching change may come, it may not, but we'll make the playoffs, and who knows maybe we can sneak into the second round and cause some trouble. Basically, CALM THE **** DOWN.
You know what I hate about this team? We're always planning on the future offseason to get us better instead of just getting it together within a year without any risk. Bosh effed us up on this one man...and I don't wanna go through another offseason cause we most likely willl end up short
If this wasn't the NBA, then yes it would be grounds for a lawsuit and maybe even a cease order. However, the NBA owners agreement basically makes all disputes between players and owners subject to the CBA, and all disputes between different sets of owners/managers subject to NBA adjudication (hearing, etc) under the NBA constitution. Unfortunately, as far as I can tell the CBA is very specific in outlining that an agreement is only real after an offer sheet is signed. IE, clear your cap space at your own risk. So really, all Morey can do is get a verbal and hope that a player is true to their word.
LOL this the same team without 2 guys who could start if your PG (who has had nagging injuries) and Center (who in the past has had injuries) go down.
