The first step! <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p>Houston is finalizing a deal to send Jeremy Lin to the Lakers, league source tells Yahoo Sports.</p>— Adrian Wojnarowski (@WojYahooNBA) <a href="https://twitter.com/WojYahooNBA/statuses/487667397474926593">July 11, 2014</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
Not gonna lie.. if we got him for vet min and S&T Bev to Miami, I don't think I'd be upset. We could use MLE to bring in backup 3 and backup 5. Also could bring back Troy Daniels for cheap

If that's what it takes to get Bosh here then you do it, and hopefully keep some other guys (and get the MLE) in the process.
morey said they would only trade lin if they had commitment from bosh... guess we will see soon enough
I don't think it will come down to losing Beverley, as I believe it's not really in either Miami nor Houston's benefit to include him. But if it came down to it and Pat Riley says give me Beverley(only) or no deal, I'd deal him. Moving Beverley means we only need to get rid of Asik and Lin(along with necessary picks) to get Bosh. Which leaves us with TJones, DMo, Capella(possibly), and whatever we can get under the $80.8mil apron. In fact, if you go past this year and look at 2015 offseason, having Beverley as a RFA may be much less preferable than DMo/TJones still on their rookie deals.
