He's great, man. My guess, Morey had to package him with Lin's **** contract to find a taker. Hopefully he's with his boy Hinkie when the dust settles and not writing for the Milwaukee Bucks or Donald Sterling.
Didn't he get married to Clutch the Bear's ex? If she's still working for the Rockets, maybe his contract wasn't renewed? I think his role took a hit after that big fine.
Makes R.com useless, for sure. He was the only reason I ever visited the site. Peace wherever life takes you.
I think he is going to the 76ers. At least that is what I am inferring from his one tweet about being a 76ers fan again.
what a shame! He's so good at what he does. I really hope he is going to write for the rockets in another capacity, but from his tweets it really sounds like he is leaving the business.
Eh the way he thanked Hinkie and said he was his favorite rocket guy doesnt lead me to believe hes going to Philly. If that were the case I feel like he wouldnt thank hinkie since hes rejoining him. Who knows.
Yup. Can't say for sure but this came as a huge surprise. If he had taken a better job, he would have known some time ago and would at least have shared it with his friends or colleagues.
Seems unlikely, given Morey's tweet. He has in the past suggested a desire to run away from twitter if his job didn't require it, so we may never know... In any case, having read the articles on many other team sites, Rockets.com was orders of magnitude better.
He thanked most of his contacts in the media as well. Doesn't sound like he'll be part of the NBA anymore or at least not the reporting media part.
