They acutally did not say much about the coaching vacancy or Brown, they showed 3 rookies working out at West Side. One of the guys looked good, 6-10 and big PF, local kid I believe I can't remember his name(Perkins???).... And finally they showed a clip with Don Nelson denying all rumors that he is in the running for the coaching position.
I live in SA but have satellite and through a little trickery get Houston locals...I would trade them all for 610 radio and throw in cash to boot..
Here's a lil more on that By EDDIE SEFKO / The Dallas Morning News Mavericks coach Don Nelson vigorously denied having any contact with the Houston Rockets about their vacant coaching position, contrary to reports in Houston. Nelson is in the final year of his coaching contract with the Mavericks. He has three years remaining as general manager and five more years left as a consultant. "I haven't heard anything about it," Nelson said. "It's absolutely ridiculous. I'm under contract. That's the end of the story." Reports from Houston said Nelson had shown interest in the Rockets job, which opened when Rudy Tomjanovich resigned on Friday. Nelson on Friday talked to Rockets vice president Carroll Dawson, "but only to wish Rudy the best," Nelson said. Nelson also left tickets for Sunday's Game 4 at American Airlines Center for Dawson and Rockets owner Leslie Alexander. "They came up here but were interested in interviewing Mike Dunleavy," Nelson said. "That's all I know." Former Philadelphia coach Larry Brown, Dunleavy and former New York coach Jeff Van Gundy are believed to be front-runners for the Houston position. Since he is under contract with the Mavericks, Nelson cannot have any contact with other teams regarding a coaching position without owner Mark Cuban's approval. Nelson on Friday jokingly said that Houston rookie Yao Ming "considers me his American father." Nelson and his son, Donnie, have known Yao since he was a junior player in China.
Is it really too much to ask to have your signature removed codell? I live in the U.A.E., and if it's TRULY a "freedom of speech" board, I can come up with a nice sig too.
what is offensive about the truth? It is basically saying that most muslims are good people except for the few that strap dynamite to their chests.....it is true...geez.. he's had it for a couple of months and you guys are just now noticing it?
