My cuz has been working out for over 20 years. He would take the grease out of pizza, or he would not eat a greasy burger. If you look at him, you wouldn't think he is middle-age.

At the nutrition depot they have phase8,50 servings, 5 pound tub on sale for 32 bucks. I just took a serving and it was delicious. I usually buy just the fast digestive hrydolized whey 60 bucks, but also got "8 hour slow digesting protein, phase 8"

Hey Im going to the gym later today to lift again, but I have a question. I may be fasting tomorrow (for religious reasons) and I was wondering how that would affect my progress?

LOL How do you think? Food provides you energy and rebuilds your muscle tissue.

Welcome to the club. Exactly (to the hour) when will you begin and end your fast? What time of day do you normally workout?

Another question: Will you be fasting on a regular basis? If so, how often.

Remember this and don't forget: Your fast has nothing to do with physical benefits. You are doing it for another reason completely.

Fasting will not help your progress.

    Sunrise to Sunset.

And no, I won't be fasting on a regular basis. Just a few days every few months or so, aside from Ramadan which isn't until June.

    Push-ups, dips, squats, pull ups.

Your body weight is all you need.

I got to this post before I couldn't take it anymore... you're 19 years old not 12 FFS. Just ****ing do it and learn from trial and error. You made a post exactly like this a couple months ago where everyone tried to help you and you just kept asking the same questions over and over and over. This may sound rude, but you need to seriously nut up for once.

So the answer is very simple: Don't workout the same day you are fasting. During Ramadan, take a break. If you really lock into working out hard 3x/week, you should take a week off about every 3 months.

So, I worked out today. Do you think it's okay to fast tomorrow? I mean, will it really have negative consequences for fasting just one day? I will eat once at like 6 a.m. , and then the next time I'd eat would be 6 p.m.

Because some people aren't lazy and genuinely want to be helpful. Truth is, most of you guys annoyed can just ignore this thread. However, many of you are just upset you guys are past your prime and can't start lifting.

Either that, or you're too damn lazy and want to discourage someone from doing so.

    You mad bro?

You'll be fine. Eat a good protein-filled breakfast. A day of fasting isn't gonna kill you.

It will only be okay if you eat 1.75 gluten free whole weat bagels smeared with 2.293546 tbs of 8% lowfat philadelphia cream cheese, washed down with an all natural protein shake consisting of 3 whole free range eggs + 2 quail eggs + 1 ostrich egg, 1.5 tbs jiffy extra crunchy peanut butter, 2 scoops of whatever protein powder you have available (as long as its chocolate flavored), and 2 shots of unicorn splooge.

Otherwise, it will not be okay to fast tomorrow. Srs.
