Harden is definitely not selfish. And he is a willing passer. I love Harden. I believe hes a suprstar. But if you played any kind of organized basketball, you'd know that even last night the ball got sticky with Harden. It's not the worst thing in the world, but it's the truth. Typically, when you start playing any level of organized ball, One of the first bad habits the coach has to correct is "stickiness." 90% of kids do it. They get the ball, and instead of moving the ball around until the ball finds the mismatch, they dribble it a little bit too much and try to go and1. By the time they reach college, they learn the crisp passing they need to make but if you played ball, you know 100% what I'm talking about..
No game thread so it is going in here <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-partner="tweetdeck"><p><a href="https://twitter.com/search/%23Blazers">#Blazers</a> F LaMarcus Aldridge says he will play tomorrow vs the Rockets.</p>— Joe Freeman (@BlazerFreeman) <a href="https://twitter.com/BlazerFreeman/status/319897944767741952">April 4, 2013</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
LMAO Aldridge is probably thinking, "HMM we're playing Houston who is super weak in the PF position. Time to pad some stats."
harden is not a kid and he is pretty poor 1 on 1 when injured or until develop a reliable midrange j...i want ball movement as in SA Spurs
Good, let's see how our bigs hold their own against Aldridge. They need to be battle tested and ready for Z-Bo, Duncan, Ibaka, Perk, Gasol and them.
Well since we played organized ball before, lets us look at each level. In High school most coaches gives certain players the green light to score the ball.Yes ball movement is taught but a lot of times they will put the ball in their best players hands. College is a different world because they preach ball movement due to the steady applied zones on defense. In the NBA these coaches give their superstar the green light to shot the ball..These Superstars are paid to do these things pimpn...They dont want the NBA to be played like no college game either..They want the rating and its revenues. Fans pay to see scoring. Why do you think college games scores be low as feakazoid. I love college play but that shid be boring as heck. Harden was brought here to be the man. His job is to score the basketball, the % of him either scoring or finding the right teammates is up there with the best. In OKC Coach Brooks would always put the ball in Harden's hand during key moments of the game and especially in crunch time. The Rockets brought him here for those exact reason as well. Yes he tends to dribble out the clock too much. But so does players like Kobe, Lebron, Melo, Wade, Westbrook, Durant, and others.
Really impressed with T-Jones last night. I hope McHale gives him the starting job. I hope Terrence wasn't one of those guys McHale was talking about.... getting "minutes they didn't deserve".
