I would explore trading for Dragic if I were Morey (and if I were the GM of several other teams). He's wasting his talent in Phoenix-- and Kyle Lowry is also wasting his talent in Toronto, but the Rockets are not allowed to trade for him until after this season finishes. I wonder if something like Jones (or Motiejunas) +Morris+Aldrich for Dragic would make sense. Houston gets Dragic back as the starting PG, send Jeremy Lin to a bench/6th man role to give the 2nd unit some more punch. A Harden/Dragic/Lin 3-guard rotation with each of them playing between 25-35 minutes would be good. Phoenix commits to tanking/rebuilding (Dragic might cause them to win 30-35 games and drop their lotto chances), gets a talented rookie in Jones, and re-unites the Morris twins. The drawback on the Rockets part is that they lose roughly $4M in cap space for 2013-14.
I think if you can get him without losing capspace, it would make sense. Otherwise, we are still looking for that 2nd superstar. And I think Morey still doesn't want to deal with player options UNLESS we are contending.
His last 3 games 3-10 / 10 points 4 assists 3 rebounds 2-6 / 4 points 9 assists 6 rebounds 0-5 / 1 point 2 assists 7 rebounds Season shooting percentage down to 40% I'd say he's coming back down to earth.

Dragic laid a stinker tonight against the Clippers. 2-8 7 points 1 assist 1 rebound Game before he was 4-13 for 10 and 5. Like Lowry he started the season hot but seems to be dropping down. Been inconsistent as of late, all his worst games have been in December. He did have arguably one of his best games this month as well going 21 and 11, but it was against the Bobcats.
Playing for a bad team with a bad system and no future takes its toll. I don't want to sound like I'm making an excuse considering the LOFs are gonna say I'm biased but I think it's very reasonable to say it. I want to feel bad for Scola but that guy is getting paid, paid, paid.
You started the thread called "Jeremy Lin is a joke" after 2 weeks, now look at yourself --- Yet you claim my "ability to evaluate is crap". Oh boi, the irony.
Previous 10 games Lin 13.4/3.5/5.9 shooting 47.5% Dragic 13.0/2.5/5.9 shooting 41% Lets all hail to Gogi who's definitely been tearing it up out there.
I have, the conclusion is that you are a knee-jerking hater who couldn't wait for more than 2 weeks to turn your back on your own player.
Lol. Lin struggles for a few weeks = Lin is a joke. Dragic struggles = not his fault, the entire Suns franchise is dragging him down.
Hmm? You have an argument against that? Like I said, I think that's very reasonable to say. And I said that knowing people'd possibly call me out for it.
The argument against it is that Dragic wasn't struggling to start the season. Unlikely it takes only a few weeks for the weight of the franchise to become a huge factor. Most likely he is just having a cold spell, as Lin had when he struggled for a time to hit shots. It is silly to attach stories/narratives on short term shooting %s based on your own emotional states and biases. Edit: Also, just saying that people might call out the stupidity of your comments doesn't make your comments stop being stupid. Saying people might call you out is not vaccination.
