    We talk about a pretty good variety of stuff in here, but there are some subjects that return again and again.

    D&D is easy enough between basso's conservative talking points cut and pasties, and ATW's posting some real or perceived atrocity in the Muslim world, you can accurately guess about 80 percent of threads.

    But what is the most prominent recurring thread in the hang out?

    Food, travel or movies. Occasionally a hot chick thread. (I'm learning to do the dougie).

    I'd say movie threads pop up the most.

    I'd have to put movies at #1, but video games are right up there too as there are a lot of gaming dorks here.

    That said, I LOVES me a good clutchfans relationship thread. The unintentional comedy is always off the chart.

    I think the best hangout threads are the ones driven by great characters.

    Two examples, although I suppose you could say that both fit in the relationship category:

    I always liked the ones were the OP ends up getting banned, like SCK, brian_chapman, Gene_the_Pig and whatnot, only after the thread balloons to an amazing amount of pages. Fun way to kill a do-nothing afternoon.

    agreed. I voted for the scantily clad women option but I really think the popularity of any sort of drama-filled thread is underrated around here.

    those relationship threads just blow the eff up. and they say only us women like to talk about relationships...

    I think the SCK thread came close to being the most legendary thread in hangout history.

    To me though, nothing beats the summer of YoYao.

    The thread is pretty useless now without all the original photo-chops, which are now nothing but dead links :(

    Yeah, that was pretty much the pinnacle, even though it drove poor Clutch crazy all summer. I'll never forget when he took pics of himself doing all the different smilies and people started actually using them instead of the real ones.

    The OCP thread was a close 2nd with all the photochops, swords and Big Wheels. Never really got into the SCK thread for some reason.
